Doug was Laid off!!

Our family life is changing more this week then I could imagine. On Thursday last week Doug was laid off, do to the lack of people buying houses. Luckily for us Doug has seen this coming for a long time now and has had another job in the line up doing commercial welding. So yea he has a job. But as for me he will no longer be phone call away when I need him, or they hey lets get lunch, or the occasional I need help and he would be there. I have taken him for granted these last few years. I am excited to see what tomorrow brings for us. Luckily he has a job.

Hallowen Partys

We went to Doug's parents ward party last night. It was a lot of fun. I think this is a hot family Picture.

Autumn

Autumn is getting so big. She is getting more mobile each and every day. She is so ready to walk it is not funny. I also realized that she has the Girl attitude I want what I want Now. She is also exploring the world around her and recognizing what noise means what. For example when the bus is coming down the street that means Ethan is home and I should wake up from my nap. Or when the garage opens Daddy is home all get to the door to see him. It is great to watch her grow.

Jared End of Soccer

Jared had an awesome soccer season. He scored a few goals, took the ball away from the kids, But most of all he realized that he whats to play tackle soccer because it is so much fun to make the other team fall on the ground and some times he just liked to fall on the ground. He had fun being on Cole's team and just being able to run around with boys. He is Awesome. Mabey we should look into football!!!

Ethan Is Seven

Ethan turned seven on October 17. Yes some days you don't know how he has made it this far!! He has the seven year old attitude or maybe the first grade independent attitude. But we love him any ways. This year he was so excited for his birthday that it was so much fun to do. It was a superhero party He loves spider man, and batman. At this time of the year I realize how much the lord has had his hand in Ethan's Life and in Mine. He is such a blessing to me and he has taught me to slow down and see the wonders of the world and also to stand up for those who can't stand up for them selves. I love him more each and every day.

Primary Program

On Sunday was the lovely Primary program. Every year we wonder what will Ethan do this year?? Last year he was dance instead of singing . The year before that he was running up and down the stairs so Doug had to go up front and do the pick and run out the door. This year we were ready we had are seats up close just in case we had to pull him out. The program starts and he is setting on his chair behind the piano it is his turn to say his part so he goes to the microphone and says in his deep little downs voice "Ethan of God" (Ethan and I am a Child of God) My Hart was filled with joy I need at this time in my life to realize that through all the hard times That Ethan is a Child of God and he has a plan for Him. Any ways after that they sang the primary songs and there was Ethan who they let stand on a chair singing his hart out as loud as he could. It was the best program ever. Jared did good to he lip sing all the songs as mouthy as he could. We had a good Sunday.

TEETHING

So we have had a fun night the last few nights Let me tell you. Poor little Autumn was up every two hours pulling on her mouth so finally this morning we looked in her mouth and yes she is getting her top teeth not just one but four on the top to go with the two that all ready on the bottom. She is in a lot pain and not sleeping at all. I have forgotten what we she do for her so any advice would be help full.

Family Vacation

We had a great Vacation to Utah to see the Fralicks. We had such a great time we can't wait to go back. We went to see temple square, we went swimming at there awesome recenter pool that I wish we had here, we did some bridge jumping, went to bridal vale falls, Ikea, Cabala's, Thanksgiving point Gardens, were awesome, Fireworks and of course some good old hanging out time.

What You Learn From Cousins!!!

At Gerry and Tiff house there kids all ride on two wheels. Poor Jared wanted to ride a bike so bad that he decided it was time to learn. He did it in the first 5 minutes. Thanks for your help Isac and Sam.

Fun 4th of July

We started in Kaysville Utah for the Water Parade, Oh yes we were all wet. It is the best parade ever. Then we ended back at Tiff and Gerry's for an Awesome water fight. Lastly a spectacular fireworks show put on by the FRALICKS!! The boys had a fun time with there fireworks they both got to do roman candles and sparklers. Autumn loved all the lights.

SUMMER TIME CAMPING

We had a fun time camping at Jackson Lake, near Sterling Colorado, We went swimming, kite flying, trying to catch frogs and had a good time hanging out with Robert and Tera. I t was an adventure with a little one but at lest she was not getting a round much.

The boys had some much need kite flying. I wounder was it the Big boys or the Little boys that had the most fun.

On the way home we got some much need Ice Cream.....

Words

I always thought that my kids would pick up there slang words from there dad. With Doug in construction and the phone on speaker it was inedible. Oh No they chose the ones that I say all the time. It's not to bad "Gosh Dang It" or "Dang It". Jared though chose to use these words all the time. He really likes to say it when the Conservative visiting teacher is here. Oh how embarrassing it is to hear it out of his mouth. It could be worse, he could say my favorite bad word!!

busy,busy summer time!!!!

I have been waiting for summer No more running the kids to and fro. No more rushing out of bed to get dressed and out of the house by9:00 a.m. Just time to relax and hang out.. Oh my am I ready for School to start and it is only been a few weeks. Here is a list of the last few days.

1. Elitch Gardens boy scout day $20.00 tickets and free kids pass from the library
2. Wedding at the butterfly pavilions
3. Out door movie in Castle rock
4. banquet for Ethan at the Denver zoo. Oh how cool, the zoo was empty.
5. swimming in the pool
6. Swim Lessons
7. Jared Summer preschool week
8. The big kicker, a check stolen out of the mail box. 8 hours at Wells Fargo Shutting down the account. That was th most fun
And we did all this in two weeks, only 8 more weeks to go. Pictures will be post Later when I find the camera in this big mess of house!! But first I need a nap.

What Corn on the Cob can do!!!

We had some friends over for dinner last night. We had corn on the cob. Ethan got up from the table and was trying to get us to put on a movie, when I noticed a black hole in his mouth. I asked him where is tooth was He looked at me like "Dah" mom in my mouth. I go to the table and look at the corn that was bloody with a tooth in it. We were a little surprised to say the lest, we were told that with down syndrome he wouldn't loose his tooth until about eight or nine. He lost it at six and half. I hope the rest of his teeth are this easy to come out !!!

Jareds Summers Starts

Jared's end to his first year of preschool. He has grown so much in the last year. His preschool teacher was great she will be missed. Soccer is also done He has grown so much and has improved this last season There was no tag playing or chasing kids he actually tried to get the ball. He is Great. Now we get to try to keep busy for the next few months.

Autumn the big 5 months

Autumn is growing. She is rolling Semi-setting and eating sold food oh how she loves food. You put her in her chair and the smiles come out.


If I am eating and she is not the temper tantrum comes. It is kind of funny.

Last Days at Kindergartan

Ethan is all done with Kindergarten. He had the best teacher ever. I wanted him to stay back cause I liked her so much. They just laughed at me. Any ways He had a little program where they recited poems and sang songs and danced. Ethan was so cute you could actually hear him try to say the words. The poem that he was in was Rain way go away little Ethan wants to play. They had him hold an Umbrella while the other two kiddo's read the poem. He loved it. Then they had field day. Oh how I miss Field day. Popsicles, water, and a lot of fun. He had a busy month. Now on word to the big 1st grade.

Deaf and Hard of hearing field day

Ethan had field day at Aurora public stadium the beginning of June. So much fun him and Jared got to do bowling, parachute, long jump, golf, running, potato sack racing. They had a good time until the rain/snow came. We ended up leaving early they had a good rest that afternoon.

house cleaning

Yes I have finally decided to in list the help of my kids to clean the house. We have decided they get allowance for this to get them used to tithing. Each day they each chose three cards out of six and get paid ten cents per card. They include sweeping Vacuuming, unload dishwasher, load dishwasher, set the table and clean of the table. They love it and even do it when not asked so things are good so far.

busy week

Jared and I had a busy week. Doug decided to get the boys a swing set, finely. So Jared and I had the fun job of getting the yard ready for it. We had to rake and trim up the yard for summer. It took us a long time. Jared did a good job and he loves his back yard now. Of course so do I.

Autumn's big 4 months

Autumn had her big 4 month appointment last week: She weighs a big 14 pounds and is 26 inches tall. She is growing a ton.

So I was Just Pursed!! What you do is take a picture of your purse/bag and then a picture of it's contents. Had a problem with that since I have a few bags: One for church, one I leave in the car for those just in case moments, one for the stroller, lastly my everyday one. So here it is. Now you have been pursed.

A bunch of random stuff.

So I finally have a moment to type a little bit. Autumn has been sick the last few days with thrush so we finally have got her medicated so things are a little bit better. I have Forgotten that when they are sick they love to be held a lot. But thank goodness she likes the swing too. Doug has been taking all three kids for me at 5:30 am so I could have a little me time at the gym. He says that she knows when I am not here because she will wake up and scream the whole time until ten minutes tell I get home at 7:30 am.. But the kicker is, is she is a sleep in the swing when I come in. So I can have that much need shower. I am glad that he gets to see that side of here because when things aren't done at home I just have to Say it's one of Autumns days. People Laugh at me because I wear a stop watch that goes off every three hours and they wounder why? The answer is it reminds me to feed her. With all the busyness of the two boys and getting use to a little one again I tend to forget to feed her so it is my little reminder. I am grateful to have her hear and to have Doug around a little bit more during this slow time at work, and to spend some much need time together.

So are fears have come true. Yes Ethan and Jared are now the same size so no more hand-me-downs. It is a good thing summer is around the corner so I can split the pants up between them both and not have to buy any more. Hopefully!!!

NEW BLOGGER

I just started Blogging. So here is a quick up date: Autumn is three months and is 13 pounds and talks a ton and is Starting to roll over. Jared is four and starts soccer tomorrow and loves Preschool. Ethan is 6 and Starts soccer and rides the bus to school. I am 29 now and just started sewing made cur ions for the house and three blankets for Autumn. We will see how long that lasts. Doug is busy working and waiting to play paintball.
