It has been to Long

I have had a feeling for a bit that I need to restart the habitat of blogging or writing My story. I think it is stemming form the fact that we are reading the New Testament as a family and there are at least 4 people who tell and testify of Jesus Christ life on earth. That some times I wish that I had 4 or 5 people who would follow me around a write my life story. I don't so I get the awesome job of doing it.

A lot has happened since 2011. That one day I might go back and update but for know here is a summary: 
We still live in Castle rock and it is ever changing. Doug is still with TWI and has been working nights for the past 9 months and it Sucks. We don't get to see or be around him that now it is getting quite lonely. His life is Sleeping days Sunday through Friday and he try to be up on during the day on Saturday. We will make it through it.

I Still work at the rec. one day a week and we do the community news paper Wednesday and Thursday. We do the paper so our kids learn how to work and the value of a dollar. I also have been learing math or I mean teaching Math to Autumn 1st grade class 2 days a week. I still try to work out. It has been slow going lately, but I will get there.

Ethan Is in 7th grade and started middle school this year. It was very sad leaving Mrs. Sharr and her staff at Sedilia. They taught us and him a lot. It is hard. But that's a whole new post. He is doing good and is growing he is now 3 inches shorter then me. He will pass me up soon. He is now shaving and is EXCITED to be turning into a man.

Jared is in 5th Grade, at Sedilia. He is the best helper. He loves Lego's and has his own little city. He likes having the freedom to ride his bike around our neiborhood to see if his friends are out. We have relized thaat he has ADHD just like his Dad. We are learning about that and what to do to help him along the way. He is the catcher for his Baseball team and is pretty good at it. He plays catcher because he gets to play catch and not stand there and be board.

Autumn is in 1st grade at Sedilia. She is very smart. She is in dance and loves it she is in it with a few of her girl friends and is having a blast. She loves lego's and dolls and stuffed animals. 

Every weekend and break from school Ethan and Jared and Autumn all sleep together in the same room. it is awesome that they still love to be together.

We are blessed with these three awesome kids. 

Back to School

Back to school back to reality!!!!!

Ethan and Jared and Autumn all are in School this year. YEA FOR ME:)
Ethan is in 4th grade and has Mrs. Zavidill, who was Jareds 1st grade teacher. Jared is in 2nd grade with Mrs.Johnson who as he says is old. Little Autumn is in Mrs. Denas preschool and loves it. She wishes she could take the bus there like her brothers do. So that leaves me a few hours alone to do what I need to do. Most likely the gym.

LEGO

WOW a lot has happened since 2009. I think that I will start with Doug he loves Lego's I mean loves Lego's at this point in time they are taking over my basement. I am the Coolest wife in the whole world to give up the kids play room for a few months to let Doug enjoy his hobby (I think we all enjoy Doug's Hobby) If he only knew how often I go down stairs to play with them. Completed Goal

So I have been busy the last few months. In December of last year I decided that I was going to train to do the Colfax half Marathon. I talked my Dad into it so together we trained to do it. My Goal was to Finnish under 2 hours and 15 min. I figured since I was training in Castle Rock where there is no flat surface I could do it. After many miles of training and working through a pulled muscle the race day came. It was great we got there at 5:30 am the Race started at 6:00 am I t was great my Dad and I started the race and we moved along at a pretty good pace. Until about mile ten when the legs started to get slow and the joints started to hurt. Luckily adrenaline kicked in and we finished in 2 hours and 7 min.. It was a great experience and it was wonderful to do it with my dad. The question is what is next: Another half marathon on September 20 and the full Colfax Marathon next year. Any one want to join?

Resons why we are behind.

Jared turned 5 December 16. He had an only boy Birthday Party.Autumn turned 1 on December 21. She was included in Jareds only boy birthday party. She Started walking at 9 1/2 months.

Christmas December 25. We also had a great Christmas we had Doug's family over for Christmas dinner. It was a fun time.

So do to the busyness of December we took the month of January off to Recover.

Doug was Laid off!!

Our family life is changing more this week then I could imagine. On Thursday last week Doug was laid off, do to the lack of people buying houses. Luckily for us Doug has seen this coming for a long time now and has had another job in the line up doing commercial welding. So yea he has a job. But as for me he will no longer be phone call away when I need him, or they hey lets get lunch, or the occasional I need help and he would be there. I have taken him for granted these last few years. I am excited to see what tomorrow brings for us. Luckily he has a job.

Hallowen Partys

We went to Doug's parents ward party last night. It was a lot of fun. I think this is a hot family Picture.

We also had our ward Halloween Party on Saturday. Lets Say of Course It was a lot of fun. Here are the Hottest Girls Around..
We got the Idea after seeing Mama Mia. The Shoes where the coolest 6 inc heals with a 4inch platform it is a surprise that I can walk..

Autumn

Autumn is getting so big. She is getting more mobile each and every day. She is so ready to walk it is not funny. I also realized that she has the Girl attitude I want what I want Now. She is also exploring the world around her and recognizing what noise means what. For example when the bus is coming down the street that means Ethan is home and I should wake up from my nap. Or when the garage opens Daddy is home all get to the door to see him. It is great to watch her grow.

Jared End of Soccer

Jared had an awesome soccer season. He scored a few goals, took the ball away from the kids, But most of all he realized that he whats to play tackle soccer because it is so much fun to make the other team fall on the ground and some times he just liked to fall on the ground. He had fun being on Cole's team and just being able to run around with boys. He is Awesome. Mabey we should look into football!!!

Ethan Is Seven

Ethan turned seven on October 17. Yes some days you don't know how he has made it this far!! He has the seven year old attitude or maybe the first grade independent attitude. But we love him any ways. This year he was so excited for his birthday that it was so much fun to do. It was a superhero party He loves spider man, and batman. At this time of the year I realize how much the lord has had his hand in Ethan's Life and in Mine. He is such a blessing to me and he has taught me to slow down and see the wonders of the world and also to stand up for those who can't stand up for them selves. I love him more each and every day.

Primary Program

On Sunday was the lovely Primary program. Every year we wonder what will Ethan do this year?? Last year he was dance instead of singing . The year before that he was running up and down the stairs so Doug had to go up front and do the pick and run out the door. This year we were ready we had are seats up close just in case we had to pull him out. The program starts and he is setting on his chair behind the piano it is his turn to say his part so he goes to the microphone and says in his deep little downs voice "Ethan of God" (Ethan and I am a Child of God) My Hart was filled with joy I need at this time in my life to realize that through all the hard times That Ethan is a Child of God and he has a plan for Him. Any ways after that they sang the primary songs and there was Ethan who they let stand on a chair singing his hart out as loud as he could. It was the best program ever. Jared did good to he lip sing all the songs as mouthy as he could. We had a good Sunday.

TEETHING

So we have had a fun night the last few nights Let me tell you. Poor little Autumn was up every two hours pulling on her mouth so finally this morning we looked in her mouth and yes she is getting her top teeth not just one but four on the top to go with the two that all ready on the bottom. She is in a lot pain and not sleeping at all. I have forgotten what we she do for her so any advice would be help full.
